Romania

Since 2002, our association has been helping Slovak communities abroad, with the first aid directed to Romania, where approximately 20 thousand Slovaks live. Within this project we have supported various educational institutions and community centres. In 2002, we helped the Slovak Lyceum A. Kozaček in Bodonoši we provided 12 computers, a scanner, a laser printer, textbooks and school supplies. Similarly, we supported the youth centres in Aleshdi and Butin, where we donated computers and videotapes.

In 2005, we responded to the devastating floods in Comanesti, where we provided power generators, pumps and financial assistance to families affected by the floods.
