Why Simply Wanting a Job Isn’t Enough: Monika’s Story from Zvolen
We support people affected by conflicts, natural disasters or poverty to live dignified lives in inclusive societies. We have been responding to sudden emergencies and supporting the long-term development of communities and societies in Slovakia and abroad for 26 years.
All people can lead dignified lives where each individual has their basic needs met, enjoys fundamental human rights, and is treated with respect, and all people can participate in inclusive societies that actively promote equality, embrace diversity, and celebrate all voices.

I give regularly because I believe that even a small contribution from each of us can truly change someone’s day. I can’t help everyone, but I know that in this way I’m helping at least someone who really needs it right now. And that makes sense to me.
