Serbia

In 2014, we helped Serbia after the devastating floods that hit the Balkans. In 2015, we intervened more actively along the so-called Balkan route, which has seen hundreds of thousands of people fleeing countries like Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq flow into the European Union. Our humanitarian mobile team, in cooperation with volunteer initiatives, worked mainly in the vicinity of the Berkasovo-Babska border crossing and the town of Shid, where it provided distribution of basic hygiene items, clothes and shoes and ran a leisure centre for children and their parents.
