Development Cooperation

Development cooperation translates into support for people who are trying to lift themselves out of poverty and develop further. In our projects, we educate children and women in countries with low education levels, help to rebuild peasant livelihoods and food security, and encourage people to become more actively involved in public life. In development projects, we often build on our humanitarian work to help prevent future crises and mitigate their negative impacts. We choose our locations carefully in line with the needs of the local population. As part of our development projects, we then contribute to improving the quality of life of local people with long-term and systematic solutions that will continue to operate independently after our departure.
